Maria Sundaram
Undergraduate Student
Maria is a fourth-year student majoring in German and Biology with a Neuroscience focus. Maria is interested in the physiological bases for neurological disorders and neural diseases. She is currently working to understand the effect of electrical stimulation of substantia nigra neurons upon memory-guided saccadic eye movements. When not in the lab, Maria can be found volunteering at the Children's Hospital or playing a Brazilian martial art called capoeira.
